Had a great experience during my annual physical at MinuteClinic - CVS in Wellesley. Michelle was friendly, professional, and thorough. She took the time to answer my questions and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. I highly recommend her for excellent patient care!
Came to the Wellesley location to get the results of a TB test and I had to wait 1hr to be told that they had scheduled me before the 48hr wait time needed so to come back in another hour. I asked if we could skip the line since we had already waited for an appointment that they scheduled at the wrong time and they said no. So here I am sitting again and waiting. It’s been 40 min and there is someone in front of me. It doesn’t look like making an appointment makes a different. This should not be called minute clinic.
Walked in. Was the 2nd tick bite the NP had seen this year, and it did seem early. I had two attached and engorged ticks, 1 attached and not engorged, 2 crawling around. The NP said that they hadn't been attached long enough, and could not therefore prescribe antibiotics to counter Lyme disease. It's about 6 weeks later I've had weeks of severe knee pain, and a trip to the ER for crushing knee problems. I've been using crutches. I have a rip roaring case of Lyme.
