Didn't know this existed but glad it does. The medical professional was better and more attentive than my actual doctor
I went in due to severe cough with chest tightness for 3 days. Literally barking like a dog. My BP was up. But the aide checked it over my fleece sweater. The NP immediately launched into meds I couldn’t take as I had high BP. I asked her to recheck my BP on bare skin and it was normal. I continued to cough and was told to “just take delsym”. CVS minute clinic charged me a whopping $75!! for co-pay. Nurse was thorough with the Q&A but that co-pay without any tests conducted is just plain robbery (I use Horizon BCBS).
My practitioner, Ms. Lima, was kind, caring, and very thorough. I recommend her and tjis CS Minute Clinic highly!
Very concerning experience at this CVS MinuteClinic . Despite explaining that we understand English when spoken slowly, the Nurse Practitioner insisted on a phone interpreter and refused to adjust her communication. We were initially told my child’s COVID test was positive, then later informed it was actually influenza due to a misread result. The After Visit Summary was also initially withheld because it was printed in English. Not a patient-centered experience, especially for families or non-native English speakers.
