I really hate to leave a bad review but I have to let everybody know that I just sat there for an hour with my 3-year-old trying to get a visit I signed up on the waiting list and waited for an hour for the doctor to come out and say she was leaving and going to lunch I really wish someone could have told me sooner
First time at a CVS minute clinic and it was an amazing experience!
Arrived at opening for an acute visit for my child(worried about strep, symptoms starting overnight) only to have the nurse practitioner come in at 9:09 and let us know that she was fully booked today somaybe we should go somewhere else since we didn’t have an appointment. She then proceeded to go into the exam room alone and sit there for 22 minutes until a patient showed up and she called this person‘s name, apparently her first scheduled visit. The provider who saw me did an AMAZING JOB; patiently administering the relevant tests and explaining everything. However, this low rating is being posted for the following reason: the wait time was very long! CVS advertises that they accept walk-ins, but at the same time there is NO SYSTEM in place for the walk-ins to be seen; it is only if there is a break in the appointments that they will be brought in. The providers themselves have tried to ask CVS to try to change the system, but this has yet to happen. So, until that ... read more
