I cannot speak more highly of the Sudbury CVS Minute Clinic for anyone in need of travel vaccines and advice. I am a patient on warfarin and as a result, both my primary care office and Passport Health were of no help to me in getting the malaria pills needed - in fact insinuated I should just not go on my trip - not to mention wanted to charge me a fortune for the other shots recommended. I took my daughter for a physical check-up, and it was a very good experience. The practitioner was very kind, took his time, and checked everything thoroughly. He made sure we felt comfortable and answered all our questions. I really appreciated his gentle and caring approach.
I was charged 250 dollars for the Varicella vaccine that I did consent to taking once I realized my insurance was not going to pay for it. After confirming with the nurse practitioner that I did not consent, I was still charged for the vaccine and the injection, which I did not receive. After calling their number, they refused to correct the bill, essentially saying that because I was at the appointment, they would not drop the charges. Do NOT receive services at this horrendous, immoral, and unethical clinic.
