Latrice (Nurse Practitioner) at the Minute Clinic on Diffley in Eagan was fantastic! Friendly, efficient, professional.
My son had a deep, difficult splinter, and the lady here had NOTHING except tweezers, which I had already tried at home. She then suggested I go buy a sewing needle and do it myself, and it's like - I would think a place that says "clinic" on the sign could handle a splinter and would have some sort of tools/implements. She also said she couldn't see it well, and she had NOTHING for magnification - not even a bright light. Fast friendly service, made certain all tests were performed to have a clear treatment plan.
Total waste of time. Wouldn't see me because of my insurance card (never been a problem anywhere else) but wouldn't let me pay cash because I have insurance... Meanwhile, I have a fever and my husband had to bring me with our 4 kids in tow. Nurse doesn't care (is "so sorry", but not enough to even speak kindly) - don't want to be seen as a cog in the medical for-profit machine? Try even pretending to have some compassion.
