UPDATE: If you go to a Minute Clinic, double-check that the actual nurse practitioner treating you is in-network — not just the clinic itself. I learned this the hard way. Minute Clinic bills under the NPI of the individual nurse, and just confirming the facility is in network is NOT enough. Beware of Minute Clinics and CVS. I am 75 years old with an illness that requires immunizations. I phoned the store and they told me they take my health insurance . The nurse ran my insurance card and said ok and gave me my vaccinations. Now I have a claim denial for $644 for 2 immunizations. These people are a bunch of liars!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!
The area is scary. The parking lot is scary. The building is scary. The people inside are scary. The NP was scary.
