I wish I could rate no stars. I had an appointment for a routine physical at 4:10...didn't get seen until 5. That's ok, I expected that. What I didn't expect was an hour later having 911 called on me and being coerced into taking an ambulance ride to the hospital after repeatedly saying that I felt fine and did not need to go to a hospital. I am in recovery and 3 days sober with no withdrawal symptoms. Called before going to be sure I could walk in for test and was told I could. Went into the CVS and registered on the computer to be seen as a walk in. The computer said wait was about 50 minutes. After 20+ minutes, someone came out to say how busy she was. Then, 5 minutes later, the computer cancelled us on the wait list. Complete waste of time.
I’ve honestly never been so upset with a service in my life. I went in with an extremely bad cough. I scheduled an appointment for 4:50pm and wasn’t seen until a little after 5:30. I don’t have insurance at the moment and let the doctor know I would be paying out of pocket. After I told the doctor my symptoms, she told me that without insurance, my visit would be a flat rate of $105 plus a little more for the tests she would run and that the total would be no more than $200. Gillian Magni NP at CVS in Watertown, MA (189 Watertown street) was quite literally the rudest provider I’ve ever encountered. I’m a 26 year old PA student so am hyper aware of how providers behave. I came in for a TB test. First of all, she’s 5 minutes late. Proceeds to come out of her office and say to me in an extremely rude tone in the public waiting area “do you not have insurance?
