Made an appointment online. Got confirmation. Get there and no one is there. Apparently it’s closed. Wasted my time.
The clinic was on-time for my appointment and Terry was wonderful in listening and diagnosing my issue. I would highly recommend.
I think everyone with insurance or not , should visit the CVS Minute Clinic first because the services there can be quicker than waiting for a primary care doctor appointment. My case was to get tested for strep throat and CVS has a machine that gives the results within 10 minutes, not the usual wait of 2 days the doctor's office offer. I walked out with relief and knowing my diagnosis, and proper treatments for a viral flu with a sore throat.
I had such a dismissive experience with Carmina the nurse practitioner at Tatum and Dynamite. She first complained about how CVS organizes appointments every 10 mins (this is not my problem) but how she does what she has to do because she has to pay a mortgage. Then after completing paperwork that confirms my eligibility for the prenatal RSV vaccine I had a doctors order for, she calls into her manager, hangs up, then rips my form in half and says she will not give me the vaccine due to me not meeting guidelines.
