Visited the Minute Clinic because I was concerned I might have shingles. The NP said it was a bug bite, even though there were multiple areas of rashes forming. Was prescribed a topical antibiotic. 3 days later, I was diagnosed by another provider with shingles. Had the NP given me the antiviral as a precaution when I went in, my symptoms would have been drastically reduced.
The nurse practitioner at our local CVS Minute Clinic was caring, compassionate and efficient and she cared for 2 of my young children. Very grateful to have her in our community.
