On 4/2/24 I went to the Minute Clinic because I couldn’t get in to see my doctor. I was “seen” by a very rude and ignorant person named Amy. When she was “going through the motions” of an “exam” instead of asking me to lower my mask, she grabbed it and pulled it down. After 40 minutes, a co- pay, flu and Covid tests that came out negative; Amy told me to buy Sudafed. I told her I didn’t want that I was really sick. My entire family got sick last week and my primary care provider is a specialist who works in Hamden. I was not going to drive an hour in my condition. The entire minute clinic team provided quality and compassionate care. Thank you to the providers Janell, Taylor and Sharon who took good care of us over the last couple of days. Shannon thank you for your support with vitals and expediting the process. Minute clinic says it all. No time spent on assessment which leads to poor outcomes and patient satisfaction. All they did was repeat the symptoms I said I had back to me as my diagnosis. Appeared the goal was to get patients in and out not actually treat the patient. Which not sure I’d that’s a provider problem or a productivity problem from the larger cooperation.
