Painless tetanus injection!!!! Went for weight management visit and while there, the nurse practitioner informed me my tetanus vaccine was overdue. I am 60+ and have never had a non-painful dTap injection. She said there was a new way of administering them using a simple technique. I am telling you she was applying the bandaid and I was still waiting on the pinch. The technique fools the brain into not feeling the pinch. It was amazing!!! Her name is Sami Ingros, NP. My visit to the CVS MinuteClinic on McNeal Rd in Allison Park, PA, was very good - I was treated with the utmost kindness by the CNP, Briann, and the area was clean and bright. She did not rush through the visit and was friendly and personable. I highly recommend this MinuteClinic. It made being sick more bearable.
