Most urgent care places treat patients like an assemble line, they just want to get the patient in/out, NOT this place. The NPR (Kathryn) took into consideration my unique situation, being a traveling healthcare employee and not having a primary care around, she treated me as if I was her only patient, was detail oriented in coming up with a short term treatment plan while factoring in my unique situation, listening to my treatment option, AND, even followed up with me later in the day. Beware that CVS and 'Minute Clinic at CVS' are not the same company, do not share information, and work in such an uncoordinated fashion that you may be waiting for over an hour after your appointment time.
Had a great experience here with Nurse Kathryn Kendall. She was very nice and patient and even followed up with me the next day. She does a great job with a lot of patients and on demand visits. Thank you!
I'm not sure what the point of appointments are here. My appointment was for 44 minutes ago. The name doesn't necessarily specify *one* minute but at a certain point, we start measuring things in hours instead of minutes. That's why we invented the hour. Don't call yourself a minute clinic if you aren't going to be any more expedient than other walk-in facilities.
I brought my daughter in for a sports physical as I have with another child of mine. This Nurse practitioner Kathryn kendall, started off in a dry, abrupt, condescending tone when she was speaking to us. The energy was so off, and my defense mode went up. She was asking my 15year old medical history and I had to say I will answer those. The way she was asking about cardiac hx such as "SVT" was so confusing.
