I visited this clinic about two weeks ago for a lingering illness and was told it was just a cold. At that point, I had already been taking DayQuil and NyQuil for nearly four weeks with no improvement. MinuteClinic is the worst place I have ever been. I go to this one in Deland because it’s closer to my job but I live in Deltona I go in. She treats me that night. I’m even worse. I call them. They hang up on me and then I try to call them Saturday and Sunday and all you get is an automated system giving you to a person who takes messages and does nothing for you. The on duty NP was thorough, there was very little to no wait and the registration process was easy.
This is for the Deland CVS minute clinic location on Woodland blvd. I had an amazing experience with the Physician, I felt heard, I felt safe and comfortable and I felt compassion and care. As a woman with chronic health issues, my concerns are usually dismissed until it's too late and I'm in the ER. So having convenient access to a resource like this and being able to book an appointment easily and check in quickly, made it all worth it. Not one step of my visit felt uncomfortable. Thanks team
