Worst experience with Healthcare that I've encountered! Doc has zero respect for anyone else's time or issues. Appointments are useless as I had one for 9:20 and didn't speak to anyone until 10 at which time I was told (by the doc) "DOT physicals take an hour and they only allow me 30 minutes" and then he walked back into his office and closed the door. I left 5 minutes after that without seeing him again. He wasn't seeing any other patients in the time I was waiting so not sure what was going on. Thanks for wasting my morni... read more
So I made an appointment because I was having symptoms of either the flu or Covid. I got there and was ask first a bunch of questions about depression. OK whatever. I told him I had been running a fever and he took out his thermometer and I would almost bet money he didn't leave it against my forehead long enough to register. He was like oh 97.5. After doing a brief, breathe in ,breathe out, looking in my ears, and throat. It's the pollen. You need to add Flonase to your daily regiment. He gave me a 3 day supply of an antibi... read more
I typically avoid CVS like the plague. I stopped in this morning to see if the MinuteClinic could help with the flu for my boyfriend. It’s very frustrating to have to stand and wait while the doctor is more interested in his phone than the ONLY person in the MinuteClinic. When he finally decided to address me, it was “do you need something? “not a hello or how are you, the bedside manner is really lacking. I’m also not sure why I need to make an appointment when the MinuteClinic is empty every time I’ve ever step foot into t... read more
Billing is incompetent at this location. They claimed to verify insurance benefits and charged my son a copay even though according to my insurance he did not owe one. Even putting the insurance representative on the phone with them accomplished nothing because at that point they claimed they hadn't run insurance yet so couldn't refund me the charge they had already charged my card (which was due to running insurance already??). Absolutely incompetent. I was told it will take "several days" for them to verify my information ... read more
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent clinic visit, prompted by my daughter's strep throat diagnosis and my own experience of similar symptoms. Unfortunately, my encounter with Nurse Practitioner Warren Via fell short of expectations. From the outset, his demeanor was unfriendly, and his bedside manner left much to be desired. Despite a negative initial throat swab result, I shared my past experience at the Christiansburg minute clinic, where a false negative was later corrected with a positive retest und... read more
