DO NOT COME HERE (unfortunately) I recently went to Mint Nails in Stamford for a regular powder manicure. I had been there years ago, but decided to give them another try when my usual nail salon was extremely busy and had me waiting a long time. Jay did great and was very professional. I just wish the owner greets the customers with a smile and doesn't give of any negative vibes. I came in the morning and he was grunting something about the direction of a fan and scolded the employees. I just felt uncomfortable and didn't want to be in a place where you can't "relax". Ironically one of the wall decor says to "relax". Another customer walked in when I was receiving service and when she said good morning he did not reply. I revisited and the atmosphere got better.

If you need something quick this is your place. The one worker who is charge of the calls is rough and she is continuously answering the phone during doing my nails which adds extra time. If I ask to fix something they say it’s fine and it will be done later but doesn’t get done.

Friendly staff but inconsistent artists/work. Got a gel manicure. A splotch that doesn’t come off and random brown dots that also don’t come off. Asked her to file my nail beds and refused to do it so it all came out bumpy.

My second time here and I’m never going back! Was burnt 3 times because the artist used some poison spray I’ve never seen before and argued with me over the cause of the pain. Was rude and rough the entire rest of the manicure and on top of that, an acrylic fill was $95!!!! No gel no polish nothing! Just insane. Find a nicer place to go!
