I sought autism and ADHD testing through Kaiser and was referred to psychologist Sarah. In our initial screening, she repeatedly asked if my concerns came from “videos on social media,” despite my detailed intake forms. She interviewed my mother; Sarah’s report claimed my mom denied witnessing a childhood symptom, but my mom says she absolutely told Sarah she did. Dr. Minor gave recommendations which where followed to the letter. When she didn't like the results of the referral she went back and changed her recommendations, even stating that she was changing her recommendation because she disagreed. Why refer to another clinicians you aren't going to follow their recommendations? That is not quality care, not the sign of a psychologist that cares about their patients.
