I have been going to Minnewaska Motors for years and I have always found Dennis to be very friendly, helpful, reasonable and honest. If a part has ever failed within warranty (not all parts are perfect), he has always made it right. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Avoid Dennis, the proprietor, at all cost. I bought a vehicle from him and he was dishonest about work & parts he said was done. Had a $1,300 repair bill a month into it for failed parts he put in. Took him to court - where he knew everyone, and vice versa (small town). Due to the state warranty, the judge sided with him. I disagreed due to his verbal statements at the time of sale - I bought based on the work he said was done. Problem was wrong fitting, cheap after market parts.
