You can’t possibly find better MS care.
Dr. Calkwood just sees patients as his money makers and will send you through loops to continue to fill his pockets. has a HUMONGOUS ego, thinks he knows everything, and states that he’s better than the Mayo Clinic. there’s barely any appointments with him directly so you will definitely waste your time and money going to him. just go elsewhere.
Dr. Calkwood definitely knows his way around MS, but all things considered he is not a good doctor. He acts more like the general manager of the clinic than a medical practitioner. He OFTEN fails to send in referrals and this delays getting care by weeks if not months. It seems like he's prejudiced against patients with higher levels of apparent disability.
I feel so lucky to have found this talented team. And Calkwood is so quintessentially human beneath all that finely honed intelligence and knowledge. (None of that typical God complex too often seen in medical situations.)
