Going to the dentist used to be a nightmare for me being somewhat resistant to anesthetic, but the team here has completely changed that. I am never nervous to come here for a cleaning or filling and would recommend them to anybody who has had negative experiences at the dentist in the past. They will listen and make you as comfortable as possible.
Leigh is a very kind and gentle hygienist. She took her time to educate me and calm my nerves.
I have been looking for a new dentist and made an appointment. I had an exam today by Joan M Jakubas, D.D.S. Good news no cavities, bad news they refuse to give me a standard tooth cleaning. They wants me to do Gum Disease treatments which consists of 2 2 hour appointments costing around $1800.00. I said I have had this treatment before and it wasn't really helpful and my condition has not worsened in years. I asked if I could just do a standard cleaning for the time being and was told yes.
