I called yesterday and asked for Pastor Johnson but a female said he wasn't there and introduced herself as his wife and was extremely rude and obnoxious! She explained to me that since I already had a bed at Salvation Army I was not "homeless" and since I have 16 years sobriety from alcohol and heroin that I was not thier"target group to help". I asked what she meant and she explained that they only help those on "skidrow". I asked her" so you are telling me if I was drunk or stoned yopu would help me but since I am already... read more

Beware of Tony Johnson – Apparently the Tony Johnson I have met is much different in character then these reviews. The customer who came through my Drive Thru window at Starbucks verbally abused me for 15minn. dropping the "F bomb" multiple times, made us re-make his Mocha Frappuccino 3x, sweared how he didn't "f*cking care about anyone in line behind him" that patiently waited. Before he drove off he called me a "stupid f*cking bitch", later called and talked to my supervisor saying how he wanted to "punch me in the mouth" ... read more

I asked if he was ready for help and he said "yes". With a little research I discovered MOC. They allowed James to check into their home with me,a complete stranger, as his sponsor. I don't recall that he had an... read more

I Support MOC – I've known Tony Johnson, the Pastor, for decades. As far as I know, he does nothing but help people. I recommend that you support Tony and the MOC with your time, effort and finances. I believe he takes absolutely zero Government dollars and is totally supported by private individuals, like myself. MOC feeds people, spiritually and physically. The MOC gives a place for people to get on their feet. While I live in San Antonio, I have never seen piousness or improper behavior. Its a tough situation there for so... read more
