I’m feeling very disappointed in this practice. The virtual visit I had with one of the providers seemed productive and then they submitted an MRI without enough information for my insurance to review it. I had to contact them in order for them to resubmit it, yet didn’t feel like they actually provided all the information to my insurance. The service then got declined and I’ve messaged them through the portal and called several times to request an appeal. Dr. Elizabeth Brooke Spencer!! Hands down the best doctor out there for May-Thurners Syndrome! Along with my other complex issues , she knows her stuff. Felt amazing after my stent was placed, she has given me a chance again at my quality of life back!! Thanks so much to the staff and all the nurses they’re amazing and empathetic!!
Next to zero communication from office staff/scheduling/billing and clinical team. I have had a few appointments so far for vein issues. At each appointment there is confusion about what we are assessing and what the treatment plan is. I was told to see if my insurance would cover an ablation for the damaged vein(s). It did, so they called me to schedule. It is hard for me to find a date where I won't be traveling for business for two weeks so I decided I might as well schedule it. Absolutely 10/10. We came to MIPS from Alabama. We worked with them over the phone for a few months getting everything ready and everyone that we spoke to was so kind and helpful. Day of surgery we had Greg and Bridgett helping us. Both were very helpful and answered every question we had. Dr. Demaio is fantastic.
