Dr. Spencer is very smart and kind. Great bedside manner. She actually wants to figure out how to help people. Her staff and nurses are also great. They handle a large number of patients, but is definitely one of the best doctors I have seen in 12 years of having medical issues.

I have mixed feelings about MIPs. The procedure itself went very well, and the providers I met with were wonderful. My concerns have been with scheduling and ongoing care. One of the things I looked forward to was having continued care and monitoring through MIPs, especially since my stent will be in place for life. I had been told they would work with me long-term, including annual stent placement checks, future pregnancies, and any additional issues that might arise. This place is truly beyond unprofessional. Like way beyond the pale of anything acceptible in health care (or any profession). Read the critical comments on this thread. They're all accurate. It's a shame the way they treat patients. Clearly a practice motivated by money. Working with MIPS, you'll discover a medical condition (no matter how obscure) for everything, and not coicidentally, those conditions can be treated for a cost. Dr. McDermitt performed a procedure on my wife today. This doctor is very competent, very professional and leaves all concerned with no questions unanswered. If this type of practice is what you need go see Dr. Meredith McDermitt and you will be happy that you did. Terrific doctor she is!!
