I've been dealing with insurance issues and have called the insurance department just about every other day, but I rarely receive a callback or any meaningful follow-up. To be clear, this review has nothing to do with the doctors or the quality of care at MIPS—I have heard great things about them. I was bed bound and in a wheelchair when I was referred to mips. Because of their care, knowledge, interventions and referrals, I'm rehabilitating and walking again. They are fantastic at what they do. Thank you to the whole mips family

I had a MRI 3 years ago and had my first appointment with MIPS at the very end of the appointment she told me she was looking at said MRI and told me that my vein was fully compressed and that I had pelvic congestion. I was scheduled after that to get an ultrasound of my veins in my legs with a second appointment with the provider. They made me watch a 20 min video of clinical information that I did NOT understand, then never explained it to me. Dr. Spencer is amazing. Getting the proper diagnosis is half the battle, but having a provider who is educated on the issue and well versed in the solution is just as important. She gave me my quality of life back.

Office is a nightmare to work with on an administrative level. Insurance appeals are not filed on time, creating a substantial work burden on the patient, and forcing them to pay cash for appointments instead of through their insurance like they're supposed to. The people in the prior authorization department will tell you that "they're working on it" and that it will be submitted "soon," but it never ends up getting submitted.
