Dr Hellan is not only a world class surgeon who exhibits unparalleled surgical skills,patient care and knowledge but also a great human being.
Dr. Hellan is extremely diligent, professional and quite a good communicator. She performed a robotic colon surgery and had me out of the hospital is less then a day. I completely trust her decisions and highly recommend.
Dr. Hellan did not recommend surgery. Instead she said that chemo and radiation were preferable to surgery that would leave me with a colostomy. I followed her advice and am now almost 4 years in remission. She follows me with check-ups & is always smiling and upbeat. If my cancer would return and I would need surgery, I would surely choose her.
Dr. Hellan cares about her patients in both the surgery and the office visits. She tells it like it is and answers all pertinent questions no matter how busy she maybe. She performed surgery and I had absolutely no side issues. She made sure to explain the procedure and what should be the outcome. She is very skilled at robotic sugerry.
Dr. Hellan is one of the best. Can't say enough good things about her.
After many failed surgeries, I found This wonderful caring and superior Colon Oncology Surgeon. She's helped me so much. her bed side manor Is excellent! She has gone the extra mile for me. I'm on the road to feeling better after 2 FAILED ostomies. This 3rd one has not been any trouble. Dr HELLAN tried very hard in a long 5 hour surgery to make it work properly! She's amazing. And she used the Robotics! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER & Her Nurse Practitioner Christin. Bless you ALL!!
