Excellent in every category. Highly knowledgeable. She is a good listener and astute with eliciting information from the patient. She follows her patients carefully and is practical and caring in all situations that I have encountered. I truly wish there were more doctors like Dr. Mini Shivprasad.
Because she stayed on top of my lab results, she spotted my colon cancer, scheduled a colonoscopy and, because she caught it so quickly, I was a candidate for laparoscopic surgery and no lymph nodes were affected. I was out of the hospital in 2 days and able to go home and recover quickly.
Dr. Mini is a very kind, concerned and more than competent physician! She's been my Primary Care physician for 5+ years and doesn't hesitate to refer me to another specialist as the need arises. I highly recommend Dr. Mini to friends and family alike.
Dr. Mini is an answer to prayers! When my doctor retired, I was certain I would never find a doctor that was as good as she was. I was wrong! I found Dr. Mini! Dr. Mini is very thorough and has a passion for her patient's health. She welcomes my questions and discussions with her are comfortable, detailed and never rushed. Dr. Shivprasad treated my husband and me for more than 7 years. Had we not moved to another state, we would still be her patients. In all that time, I found Dr. Shivprasad the epitome of what you want your family doctor to be. She ALWAYS spent the time I needed without making me feel rushed. She delved into our histories, made appropriate treatments and was so thorough when following up on us.She went above and beyond to help me. I 2ish her long and healthy life.
Dr. Mini, as her patients call her, listens to her patients. In May of 2017 I came to her with bowel problems and symptoms. Even though I had undertaken a colonoscopy in 2016 and nothing was found, that didn't deter Dr. Mini and she ordered another colonoscopy. Thank God, and thank Dr. Mini that she did because they found Colon Cancer. Luckily, because she listened to me and didn't put me off, she saved my life. We caught a very aggressive cancer early. I highly recommend Dr. Mimi.
