Great service and very helpful--been here twice, once for water pump replacement a year ago and again recently to check out a problem with my wheels. Minh was able to help me diagnose the problem despite not offering tire services, and was very clear in explaining what could be causing my issues. It is clear that Minh is very knowledgeable and willing to offer advice. Would recommend!
I took my 2017 ford to a mechanic in La Jolla when the engine light went on. They said the problem was in the emission system and I’d need to have a hose replaced but they replace all 4 together and it would cost over $1,000 with labor. My son told me to take it to Minh who told me it might be the gas cap area as this is common with my type of car. Minh has been my mechanic since I moved to San Diego, and I couldn’t recommend him more. He is fair, trustworthy, and does excellent work. He doesn’t oversell fixes and gives you options based on actual need. When I had some car emergencies over the last few years, he immediately took care of me. I am very grateful for his help. You won’t find a more honest or caring mechanic out here.
Minh was very transparent about the pricing and helped me fix the issue (programming) in a very timely manner. He also explained to me what went wrong and did not try to overcharge me, which I really appreciated. My issue was addressed.
Minh is fair, honest, and efficient. Also a fun person to converse with. Oil change down on my 2025 Miata for a reasonable price. Highly recommend him.
