Minh has been my mechanic since I moved to San Diego, and I couldn’t recommend him more. He is fair, trustworthy, and does excellent work. He doesn’t oversell fixes and gives you options based on actual need. When I had some car emergencies over the last few years, he immediately took care of me. I am very grateful for his help. You won’t find a more honest or caring mechanic out here.
Minh was very transparent about the pricing and helped me fix the issue (programming) in a very timely manner. He also explained to me what went wrong and did not try to overcharge me, which I really appreciated. My issue was addressed.
Minh is fair, honest, and efficient. Also a fun person to converse with. Oil change down on my 2025 Miata for a reasonable price. Highly recommend him.
Second time using this shop, and second vehicle bringing in for work, I was able to get in the next day, and the work was done in a matter of hours! For reference, I needed the full strut/air shock assembly replaced for the front of my 08 Range Rover. He let me bring my own parts with the understanding that there would be no warranty, but I trust his work and he prices fairly as well. Great shop to bring your car to here in San Diego, anyone in the Carmel Valley, La Jolla, Del Mar area should keep it in mind!
I continue to return to Minh as he does consistently great work, and only for the services needed, there is no upsell. He has always returned the car when promised and no need to return for warranty work.
