The MCMC Long-Term Care facilities and staff are top notch! Residents are cared for and treated with utmost respect. The staff has become an extended family, and no amount of words can express our family’s gratitude.

I almost died because the ER Dr. Newman wanted to argue that the emergency room was for emergencies only. After several hours of fighting for a CT scan a colloid cyst was found and I had a severe case of hydrocephalus because the cyst was plugging the ventricles in my brain. I was then flown out to pueblo to have emergency surgery to place a shunt. This dr. was going to send me home where I could have died. I have been symptomatic for 15 years and going there for treatment for at least 10. I will never go there again.

Called this morning to get my wife and I into the clinic, which is not a clinic but that is beside the point, and they refused to make us an appointment unless we established with them and left our primary Dr. A true clinic will see you regardless of who your Dr is if you can not get in with your Dr. They are not a clinic, just another Dr's Office. The person that answered the phone was polite about the issue though. At least they got that right. I would not recommend going to the clinic if you have a Dr you already like and... read more
