love this place! family and pet friendly!
We spent 4th of July week at Miners Camp and had so much fun! The cabins are very nicely decorated with a gold miners theme. My family had 2 cabins that were adjoining. We spent a lot of time outside. We cooked our meals in the outdoor kitchen. We played lawn games and spent the evenings at the campfire roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. We also went whitewater rafting. We met the owner, Leif, a great guy. We will definitely be back to enjoy the outdoors and this nice little treasure we found in Foresthill, Ca
pleasant accommodations and beautiful area
Open during the pandemic and encouraging people to come up to a tiny rural AF town with no hospital and an aging population.... Nope...
This place was seriously awesome! The cabins were adorable. They gave you the cute rustic feeling of a cabin but with modern touches everywhere. My family and I stayed in cabins 7, 11 and 12 in January when there was some snow and I couldn’t have been more happy. We will be planning a trip and staying there hopefully this summer. The manager was also so accommodating and helpful!
nice spot, blue eyes room is really spacious
Miners Camp was a recommended place to stay overnight that is close by to our whitewater rafting meeting spot early tomorrow morning. We made a day of sightseeing nearby as we are staying in Lake Tahoe for the week. We were so impressed when we arrived at how neat this place is that we’re super bummed we didn’t arrive sooner. Seriously contemplating one more night so we can enjoy this place. Even has AC! Would be an amazing spot for a wedding or family reunion. Community bonfire pit and grilling area out back!
