04/30/26 Came in for what turned out to be a kidney stone. I made my visit difficult on the ER staff by being a little dehydrated, so it was hard for them to get the IV stuck in a vein. Got blood drawn, some pain med, and just before the CT scan folks came for me, the stone passed out of my ureter. The worst was over at that point. Tested for infection.(negative) Got an Rx and was on my way. 5 hrs? I'm a truck driver so, very happy I'm not spending the night. Thankyou Mineral Community Hospital!
Disappointing service
Life savers! The ER team at Mineral Community Hospital acted swiftly and professionally during the emergency. Highly recommend their 24/7 services.
Very disappointed in how they cared for me in the end. Last time I was in the emergency room a nurse laughed under her breath at me, ever offered advice or help just took blood and urine told me I was overreacting and let me go. The clinic didn't believe my concerns and really didn't seem interested . Funny how a patient can be diagnosed without any tests or labs. And for a Dr to say" uh, I don't know what we should try next, what do you think" makes me believe they paid no attention in schooling. Bull....
My first time at Mineral County and I was impressed with every aspect of my visit.
