I agree with all the negative reviews, that has been my experience as well. She's belittling and makes you feel like you're dumb for no reason when you are doing everything that has been asked of you. This is not how a health professional should treat someone who is going through a tough time and mental health issues.
Absolutely AVOID. Caused me more harm than anything. Dr Renee was so unprofessional and all she cared about was filling out a form asking me some super personal questions like she was taking go my order at a drive through window. In 30 years I’ve never worked with anyone who actually tried to end the first session within 6 minutes. She has zero empathy is condescending and should not be in a position to help people who have serious conditions.
I’ve been a client of Dr Renee’s for a few months and have experienced a number of different therapy treatments with her. She has been nothing but accepting, kind and supportive. Throughout this process, I’m learning how to deal with depression and anxiety….. cope with my life as it is…. And look forward to being able to share my thoughts with others. As someone who has been in/out of therapy my entire life, I’ve never had a Therapist help me like Dr. Renee. She is unconventional in her methods, offers tangible resources/advice, and holds me accountable when needed. Clearly, she is not for everyone, but therapy is not a one-sided discussion, you must put in the work to see positive results. I highly recommend her services if you have struggled (as I have), and are looking for a Therapist that understands somatic therapy, human behavior, and who really cares.
