Had an initial call with Huanyi(Mimi) Liu. It’s a terrible experience. She didn’t introduce herself at all but just abruptly asked about my symptoms. In the middle of my description, she rudely cut me short by saying: I’m very busy and don’t accept any new patients. Then what’s the point of asking my symptoms and trigger emotional distress on someone who’s already struggling? Such person that lacks the basic human empathy should not be a care giver at all, let alone treating mental health patients.

The wait room is a little snug but it does feel welcoming (though a little more ac would be nice). Wasn't difficult to find and is really close to the Northgate bus hub which is nice.

I’ve had a great experience with my therapist, but the billing department has been a nightmare. I updated my insurance well before my appointment, yet I was still charged the full $125 out of pocket. My insurance confirmed the claim was processed at the end of April, and their own billing portal shows a credit on my account. Still, they’ve withheld my refund with no resolution.
