Professional and caring staff. Nurse practitioner took the time to give details and advice about the issue we were faced with.🌷
Need to hire doctors. Has a nice lunch at noon on the other side of the hospital, but no point going until they have staff.
Every time I go for assistance I'm refused for one reason or another. They've reached their daily patient limit or they're closed for various reasons. Let me get something clear. I DO NOT blame the staff. I'm sure they do a wonderful job, I wouldn't know because I've never made it past the front desk. Despite my 5-6 attempts. Funding needs to be increased to accommodate more patients and prevent over flow to the Haliburton ER. Maybe even get another nurse so they don't have to close every time the one they have is sick. Yesterday I received the most excellent care from the team at the Minden UCC. They quickly determined my issue was more severe than I had thought and so immediately got me comfortable, called an ambulance who rushed me to Haliburton hospital where I could get the necessary imaging for an accurate diagnosis. The UCC team, ambulance team and Haliburton Emergency handled everything with compassion and speed. It’s great to know we have such high quality care available here in the area. Thanks teams!
