I have seen Maya Cortes off and on for 6 years. She literally changed my life. If not for her I wouldn’t be the version I am of myself now. I am a happier, stronger and more independent person because of working with her. I truly believe that anyone that has the chance to work with her is blessed and she will do the same for you that she did for me.
I was really looking forward to my first session, only to have it canceled just 10 minutes before due to missing intake paperwork, which I understand is necessary. What surprised me, though, was being told that because of this, I wouldn’t be seen at all and that they weren’t willing to “work with me” in any way. I’d have to go elsewhere entirely. Myself and my kids all use Mindtrek for counseling and it is the best service ever! The counselors are a great fit for us, scheduling is flexible, and the owner is Uber helpful and responsive.
