Places like this are why ACTUAL neurofeedback practitioners are having to fight so hard to get insurance to cover the treatment. NF is an incredible treatment, it’s changed my life. But 20 minute Z Score sessions *is not neurofeedback*…..it’s a money-grab. PLEASE for the love of GOD do not support these dime a dozen “neurofeedback providers”. Do your research and find one that is licensed, one that cares about helping their clients, one that isn’t just out for your money.
I started neurofeedback after a major concussion in April. I was having difficulty making sentences, remembering, massive migraines and my mood swings were extravagant( my poor family). I was blown away by the mindmap. It showed all the damage to my frontal lobe and back.. I couldn’t believe it could actually pinpoint where I was hit. After 5 months of neurofeedback, I am capable of making sentences, my headaches are almost completely gone, I am more patient and not as moody!
