Dr. Slotnick is EXCELLENT!!! She is a rare gem! Anyone who has the opportunity to work with her is very lucky. I brought my two year old in for a visit and was absolutely blown away by the depth and breadth of her knowledge. She provided us with an abundance of resources and practitioners that were so supportive and helpful; not only for my son’s vision, but also for his body as a whole. Dr. Slotnick has been amazing! My physical therapist referred me to see Dr. Slotnick. I waited until I ran out of my contacts because I was expecting that she was just going to make a couple minor adjustments. This was a mistake. Her work with my eyes has completely changed the pace of my physical therapy and probably completely changed the outcome too. If you have been referred or need a specialist, I highly recommend that you schedule an appointment as soon as possible!
Dr. Slotnick is by FAR the best optometrist I have ever been to. She has a very comprehensive way of looking at the eyes, much more so than any optometrist I have been to. I always knew something wasn't right with my eyes/glasses and she was able to quantify that and also do something about it. This has never been my experience before which has led to headaches, pain, and several other issues. Dr. Slotnick is an absolute genius. She spent a total of 3 1/2 hours with me over two days pinpointing the exact source of my visual imbalance and writing a scrip that changed how I place myself in the world. I have an incredibly cognitively demanding job, and I am looking forward to reaping the tremendous benefits of her prescription.
