Tried to set up an appointment using insurance. The office manager was very rude, telling me that “everyone is calling to fix their mental health issues” and he doesn’t have time to call my insurance company to verify that we have full coverage. His rudeness, lack of helpfulness are antithetical to mental health. I was polite and respectful but he hung up on me. Very shocking for this line of work!!
They are the worse, they don't help you with your mental health they destroyed it. They told me my deductible will be $38.40 each session and they are charging me $334.32 every Friday. I will never recomend any body to be treat in this place.
I have officially initiated formal complaints with the Florida Department of Health (MQA) and the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) regarding the illegal and predatory business practices at Mind Body Therapeutics. This facility produced a medical assessment riddled with egregious errors (including a false 2013 DUI) and was withholding the corrected version as a 'ransom' for a $390 payment. I wished I would have seen their ratings prior to getting my assessments done with them. And yes @ John Izquierdo (reviewer) the "receptionist" that hang up on you and me, was Michael. Michael is terrible. Working as a "receptionist" he never adviced me to get a prior authorization, mind you he is the same person acting as "billing" that later told me I had to get one. I have been seeing Nancy at Mind Body Therapeutics for over a year now and she has been most helpful to me during the entire time. She's very compassionate, understand and skilled in her approach to therapy. I have seen several comments regarding the diet that is suggested to patients, since nutrition is an integeral part of your mental health. However, it is optional and not a requirement to see a counselor there. I would recommend Nancy highly, the diet is up to each individual.
