I was referred over from my Dr. to get a psychiatric evaluation for an upcoming bariatric surgery. Dr. Puruwat and her team is awesome. Great communication, always available and helped me get mentally ready for my procedure including helping me with some other mental health problems i had been suffering for years.

Unfortunately this was a negative experience from beginning to end. My appointment was July 2024. It was a telehealth appointment. She logged on late. It was 7min long and very unhelpful, I was told no followup was needed and that I should read a book/listen to some podcasts. I had never tried therapy before and this was a terrible first experience. Then I got the bill for a 60min session. I work in healthcare and I know there are CPT codes for less time they could've used, and I've called multiple times to get this adjusted... read more

(Just want to start by saying TMS was worth it) I was having panic attacks so often I ended up in the emergency at LEAST 4 times within 3 months and they would last for hours. If it wasn’t a panic attack it was constant anxiety. I had already been prescribed other medications from other doctors to try n help but they were not working.
