Partner scheduled appointment for therapy at 7pm, confirmed appointment on phone the previous day and they cancelled his appointment the next day at 12pm. Was told there was no availability for 4 months. They did the same thing for psychiatry appointment with no explanation or warning. Extremely unprofessional.
I'm not generally one to write a review, but because MBC provides service related to mental health, I thought it was important to let other folks know. I have experienced multiple instances of MBC being very unorganized and irresponsible in terms of patient well-being. From billing issues to not informing me of my provider leaving until I tried to schedule an appointment to now being unwilling to refill my prescriptions while I look for a new provider...I'm just really disappointed with my experience here. Don’t recommend Mind Body Co Op. Love my psychiatrist there and it’s a shame to leave due to the admin and nurse team’s negligence. Emails are not replied to, you have to beg for your medication. Will very much miss my psychiatrist but I can’t live this way and nobody should have to. They have really done a piss poor job with me.
I just got off the phone with someone that was NOT my psych relaying the message that I am not allowed my medication until i attend an appt despite his next appt being 6 weeks out; I have been on these meds for 4yrs and am now experiencing disabling withdrawal symptoms. They told me to go to the ER and there’s nothing they can do. AFTER 4 YEARS. Nothing about MindBody shows that they care at all for their patients. Organization here seems abysmal. Shared my disappointment about not just their lack of in person therapists available in evenings but the fact that I’d been in a back in forth with intake for weeks going on months and was eventually ghosted and got a “I don’t know what you’re talking about” response which feels awful. You would really hope for a practice as big as this one they would have the competence to follow up with people or be able to take feedback with grace. They don’t.
