Well, I have been using their service quiet frequently since last 5 years. They are local and women owned or operated, I respect that! Today, it was a different experience; Tu Shi Tran (may be I misspelled) NOT GOOD PERSON/HAIRCUT PROFESSIONAL. Nguyen, the other one is pretty good. They both were speaking in Combodian or Tagalog or something, it was obvious that Ms.Tran was pretty upset about something and under anger or frustration, she quickly started cutting my hair behind ear and it pinched pretty bad like 3 middles sudd... read more

I personally love this place! I went to 6 different salons to get my lower back length hair chopped off to a fohawk. A big change and the salons i went to said no. This was the only salon I found close that did it and it was gorgeous perfect for the desert summer.
I was shopping at Trader Joe and saw Mimi's Salon takes walk-ins so I decided to get my haircut. Thu was my stylist. Although her English was limited, she was pleasant and gave me a wash, cut and blow-dry. It was the best cut that I have had in along time. She is a pro and the entire service was $50.00. A bargain for the area. The salon is not fancy but the service and cut were great.
The person working on my hair was majorly sick with flu which I didn't notice at first (they were hiding it, trying to talk less etc) and infected me. Don't go there unless you want to get sick and spend a week in bed. Total disrespect to the clients. Deliberately infecting people who pay them for the haircuts
