LOVE THIS PLACE! Mimi's is always good for everyone. Everyone should be able to find something they like on the menu. So far, I haven't had a bad meal. They even have 3 course dinners for a very reasonable price. If you want to go out to dinner and not spend too much... this is the place to go (or lunch).

Mimi's----WHAT HAPPENED? Oh my gosh......I recently went to San Jose, CA on a short weekend vacation and thought I would re-visit Mimi's Cafe. WHAT A SHOCK! My family and I used to LOVE going to Mimi's Cafe. It was always clean, the food was really good, and the staff was friendly. YIKES, WHAT HAPPENED. We visited on a Saturday afternoon around 5:00 PM and it was virtually empty!! (That alone shocked us because normally they would have people waiting outside by this time on the weekend.) Donna So disappointed in Mimi's today. I ordered the Fitness Omelette and asked if I could have coffee instead of juice. The server said "no", said she actually wasn't sure and would check, came back after supposedly talking to a manager and repeated what she already said "no substituting coffee for juice". That is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard of. To make matters worse, the manager never came to our table. check this out My family and I have had several meals there. Never a bad one always friendly and the prices are just right for the ecomany. I really like the food and the setting. Always a pleasent place
Great Value On 3-Course Dinner Special For $12.99 Their Corn Chowder was as good as I'd expect from any chain restaurant...it's just too bad they don't use real corn. The French Onion soup is always a safe bet, though.

The Shrimp Piccata Fettucine was generously loaded with shrimp and had lots of flavor...but they shouldn't call it "Piccata" unless it has capers, lemon juice and white wine...not tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes and spinach in a creamy tomato sauce!
Great Place! This is a great place to take your family and friends. The dress code is casual. The menu is varied enough to satisfy most people. The service is very good and the people are friendly.
