Delicious Carrot Bread! – Love, love, love the carrot bread here! I always come to Mimi's just so I can buy an extra loaf to bring home. I normally just order the turkey club for lunch, which is good. I enjoy the casual comfortable atmosphere of the place.

a sad mother's day tale – We would like to bring to your attention one of the most unpleasant experiences we had at the Mimi’s Café located on 1200 El Paseo De Saratoga, San Jose, CA. The incident happened this past Mother’s day. We, a group of 3 families with a total of 11 people, went for brunch to the Mimi’s Café at the above location. Good food in a family atmosphere Mimi's has something on the menu for every appetite. Sandwiches, soups, hearty dinner options, kid friendly fare - they have it all. The wait can get quite long for a table at dinner time, but lunch is not usually a problem Service can be a bit unpredictable - sometimes the server is quick and efficient and at other times we've wondered if perhaps they left for the day. Despite the unpredictable service, Mimi's is a restaurant we find ourselves returning to time and again.
I Love Mimi's!! They have Veggie Quesadillas to die for! – Mimi's is absolutely delicious from their fresh blueberry muffins to my absolute favorite veggie quesadillas. they have something for everyone. My friends & I are in college & were @ first hesitant to eat there and now we're addicted! =) Mimi's all the way!
Good food, good prices too Mim's is a great restaurant to hit up if you're looking for good American cuisine at a fair price. Be forewarned that the wait can get decently long on weekend nights. Call ahead to put your name on the list so you don't have to wait too long. Also, the service can sometimes be a little on the slow side, but it is well worth it for the food!
