Mimi's adult home has been a life saver for us and our elderly mother, who had advanced dementia. Mom passed away a few days ago. But she thrived at Mimi's home. She was a resident during the pandemic and was kept safe along with all the residence at that time. I didn't have to worry as I knew they had it all handled. Mom was 96 when she passed away of natural causes. Mom was very affectionate her last week's and and gave big hugs not only to me but also the staff.... My mom was at Mimi's for close to 4 years. She was treated with love and Mimi and her staff were wonderful. We did our research before we entrusted our mom to Mimi's. We were very happy with the choice we made. We will miss visiting with Mimi and the other residents.
We placed our Dad at Mimi's three months ago. At that time, he could barely walk, his diabetes was out of control, and his overall health was very bad. He was unable to live at his own home any longer. In about six weeks, his diabetes readings are now in the low 100's, he's lost excess weight, and he can now pop up and out of his chair without using the lift. My mom lived in Mimi’s adult family home for 12 years. She passed there, peacefully, after a long battle with dementia. While at Mimi’s, my mom received the highest level of care and she was cared for her through all of the stages of the disease. Mimi’s home is spotless. The food is lovingly prepared by Mimi and her staff. During the summer, her abundant garden provides fresh vegetables. My mom was bedridden for 10 years of her stay at Mimi’s.
