I’ve given this place a fair chance and have been there several times. Between the arguments about employees having to do their jobs, which is extremely unprofessional, and employees yelling at each other in front of clients, I’ve already had concerns about this establishment. However, what happened during my most recent visit is the reason I will never return. I am a paying customer, just like everyone else, and I expect to receive the service I paid for. Man in the front of the desk is HORRIBLE should not be in the shop if he DOES NOT k ow what he is talking about or doing . My mother booked my appointment last night price was $220. As I get in for 9 AM the man in the front says $270 to $250 horrible customer service
The customer service here is so horrible. They do not listen to what you are saying and they suck their teeth and get rude with you like you’re not the customer. I came here before after being stopped by one of the ladies that work here going into the gym. She told me to come a give them a try next time I get braids. I came the very next time to get my hair done. Bintou did an amazing job on my braids. absolutely love MiMi’s Hair Braiding Salon in East Orange! The service is always great, and my hair is beautifully done every time. One thing I really appreciate is that my hair never comes out when I take my braids down! The salon is nice, clean, and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. They’re always running some type of sale, which I really appreciate. The women who work there are so nice, patient, and professional.
