Bummer. Had bad pain but was not accorded a single solitary pain killer. Attention was sporadic. Paper residue from a blood test was left askew on my bed. All the people had superb capabilities. Comfort factor of room was a stretch. No offer of a constipation solution. Discharge instructions clearly incomplete. Center of area sounded party like but my invitation was correctly absent. The waiting room just happened to only have one person in it when i arrived. We had a snowstorm- 4in and freezing cold out. An unexpected injury brought me in- i was not feeling it at all. Was greeted by a warm receptionist. We conversed with kind banalities until i was called (which seemed immediately due to her efforts). Triage. I have been receiving all my health care at the VA for over 30 years. I trust the doctors I have. I advocate for myself and let them know when I disagree, and we will talk about the treatment plan. I have my medical history written out so that if I need to see a new doctor, they can read it. I have also communicated with them thru secure messaging on my healthevet and have gotten responses in a timely manner.
