We asked Milwaukee Appliance to take a look at our washer. A technician came out and, in five minutes, gave us an estimate of $600 for the repair. Naturally, we decided to buy a new machine instead. The technician charged us $169.39. I called and spoke to the owner, Brittany. She told me they charge a standard fee of $79.95 for the trip (we live 13 miles away) and $80 for the diagnosis.
