I don't know how to explain how this place messed with my mind. They picked it apart and put it together not quite right. Will I ever unalive myself? No. I know now that because of this place, I can live through anything. That is not a compliment. Can I function? Yes. But I learned that to get through it. Again. Not a compliment. When I was in Milwaukee Academy I hated it and thought I didn't need it. At the end of my 9 month stay and achieving Butterfly status I was able to leave and be successful as an adult. I truly couldn't have done it without the help of the amazing staff at this academy.
