My father owened two BBQ restraunts and was trained by the some of the best @ Kruitz in Lockhart back in the 70s. I have been to most of the great BBQ places in TX. With all that said Milts in Kyle TX is the top spot for me with the overall best BBQ. That means all items. The lockhart sausage is excellent, the brisket is perfection. The turky and chicken are equally good. The beans are out of this world good. Like I said over all excellent. I hope for your sake you get to try this place.

My family loves Milt's!! Hubby loves their moist delicious brisket; I love the moist tasty turkey. My kids are addicted to the Roadhouse Burgers and fries. And, on the unusual chance that there's a mistake with my order, they immediately make it right with the utmost professionalism and the friendliest attitude!
Well, I ordered a Bird's Nest sandwich, which is sliced brisket and polish sausage. I called my husband and I asked him, do you want me to just bring you what I don't eat or order you one of your own? He said just bring you what you have left over. Guess what? I had to order him one of his own to take to him. I ate the whole thing because the brisket was moist and delicious the sausage was perfect, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time.
