Munson may or may not provide quality care, but they sure don't care about an individual's time when it comes to billing. I have attempted to reach them on the phone, portal and by mail. Very slow to respond, unable to reach by phone, even mail takes weeks to get the payments credited. I would hope for more consideration from an institute like this.
The first visit from the RN and PT was solid—they provided good care and seemed engaged. But after that, each of them came out twice more and did absolutely nothing. They were in and out in under ten minutes, offering zero meaningful support. I decided to let them go. I’m not paying for a few minutes of empty presence with no care delivered.
I called my provider back as requested to give him an update on my condition and symptoms. The receptionist was nice compared to the woman who called me back, Marissa NP. She was rude, short-tempered, and dismissive, telling me that if I wanted my doctor to know anything or to receive a message, I had to fill her in first, and then she would decide whether to pass it along. She stated that things were different now, as multiple employees had left, and she was the one who controlled what was scheduled, done, and provided. - I... read more
My mother Marjorie Russell-Gaffner had surgery this morning. She had a broken back. Her nurse Kelly was amazing. He was so kind, informative and compassionate. There is not area he could have improved on. Thank you for hiring such an amazing soul. Sheryl
Could not be more unhappy with the serice we have received for our loved one. Decisions they make without consulting the family and staff was very unwelcoming. It has been hard to get direct answers for questions asked. I would definetly chose a different hospital next time for my loved one needs.
It was a cold winter day and had to go to the ER. Little did I know that what was waiting for me in there was colder than the ice covering the building. The only ray of sunshine was a tech by the name of Anna who actually treated me like a human being. I was feeling horrible, and in a serious situation with my health deteriorating every day when I finally decided to ask for help at this place. After waiting a PA (Caylea I think her name was)with a real attitude barges in the room acting in a big rush slamming questions at me... read more
It me again. Munson Hospital the worst. They put me in a room in the Er waiting room with a door shut. A nurse practitioner came in to see me , listened to my chest, I could hear all the wheezing but she couldn’t, got my chest x ray have pneumonia they gave me a prescription sent me on my way. Then I get a email from the portal saying the doctor talked to me face to face. I can honestly say no one came in except a paramedic that gave me an anabolic to start with and sent me on my way. No doctor. I will be calling ER manager... read more
I came in because of my asthma, they took a Covid test and flu test. I was the 3ed person in here and more people came in and everyone went in before me. I’m still sitting here waiting as non sick people go a head. They say I all depends on your illness that goes first, so everyone who went before me was not ill. I was the only one wearing a mask. Ive been here sense 10:45. Munson medical hospital is a joke. Go down state to hospitals who really care for the people.
Due to a football related injury, I recently had to pay a visit to the good folks over at Kalkaska Memorial. The situation wasn’t a great one. My toe was pointing in a direction it had never pointed before. I honestly had no idea what to expect. Were they going to need to amputate? Would I need surgery? Would my life be forever changed? Would I be able to play golf the next day? It was anybody’s guess…. The front line nursing team showed elite expertise as soon as I entered the facility. They could tell I w... read more
