Food is very good, lovely garden surroundings, excellent service.
My husband proposed to me here 12/31/05, it was special then and has become better with every visit. We married on 8/4/07 and returned on our first, 5th and the other night for our 10th anniversary. I had the salmon & crab meat potato salad, what a delicious combo!! My more traditional husband had the meatloaf which he thoroughly enjoyed. The service was wonderful as always and we did not feel rushed.
Anniversary dinner on Sunday 7/30 was one of the top ten meals I have eaten. As a Culinary Institute of America graduate I've eaten at some find establishments around the country. The Cod loin was cooked to perfection and the black truffle pecorino risotta was awesome. Great portions and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
My wife and I consider Millstone at 74 Main to be our "go to" restaurant. Rich and staff do a fantastic job, both front of the house and the kitchen. Yesterday for Mother's Day, I had a "green meal". Very different than my usual favorites. I had chilled avocado soup as an appetizer, fettucine (freshly made in VT) with pesto and artichokes as an entree and house-made pistachio ice cream for dessert. Wonderful meal! I am so glad that I tried three very different choices. No, I did not have a green cocktail!
