Dr. Milliken tells you he will evaluate your condition for free then send you an estimate of the work to be performed after running your insurance. He then sends you a bill that owe him money without any breakout for what he is charging. Watch out for this guy. I am dealing with him through an attorney and he doesn't even have an email address - stone age
You dream of a dentist like this. He is personable, gentle, explains everything, and reasonable. His staff is professional and they don't sit you down when you get there and ask how you going to pay before anything else. In fact, they mail you a bill, very civilized and it is very reasonable. This was my first experience going to a periodontist. At the initial consultation Dr. Milliken was kind, relaxed and very thorough in his explanations of what my problem was, what his examination was meant to discover and what his conclusions were. He is very congenial but as well, completely competent and professional. I felt in very capable hands. Nevertheless I was nervous going a week later into my first "deep root cleaning". I now have very healthy gums with secure teeth that I expect to last my life time. The monday hygienist (I can't remember her name) was really thorough and made all the difference for me. She says it's all me and what I do every day. Now I don't (and won't) need implants. ($$$!!!!)
I travel from from Union City just to see this periodontist. Really, it's the monday hygienist that is so impressive. But the doctor is really nice too.
