Experienced nuanced xenophobia from the staff which I found extremely disrespectful.
Although it says Millie's Diner, the only diner part of this establishment is the counter. The food is high end at an reasonable price. From the chilled Peach soup, to the grilled Octopus, to the Kefir Panacotta. Absolutely delicious!!!!!!! 5 stars.
We just had dinner. Grilled Octopus, and Thai Shrimp. Apps were chilled peach soup, and charcuterie. Dessert was ginger coriander creme brulee, and vanilla kefir panna cotta. All were exquisite! Chef knows his/her stuff. Service equally superb! 5 stars in my opinion.

Great good but the service is horrible. If you want to be treated like a human don’t come here just do takeout.
First-the Bacon corn chowder soup might’ve been the best thing I’ve put in my mouth in years. The sandwich was also delicious, but I dreamt about that soup last night. The coconut custard was divine and the peanut butter chocolate pie was heaven. So delicious! The waitress, Amy, was a delightful bit of sunshine. I was only in RVA for 2 days, but I plan on returning and going to Millie’s again. Loved it!
We love Millie's! It's one of our haunts whenever we're in Richmond. Try their Huevos or Devil's Mess, but bring a big appetite or expect leftovers!
