I just moved to the area and a bunch of people recommended the coffee cake here, and I completely understand why. It was incredible! It was served warm, soft, and not overly sweet. Also, the owner started chatting with us and was really nice. He ended up not charging us for our coffee cakes and lattes so we could pay it forward. That made our entire day. This is an adorable place owned by incredible people.it was 9/11 and the owner just gave my neice and I the absolutely scrumptious coffee cake and fresh lattes for free. He said to pay it forward and remember to be kind to one another. As someone who was in NY for 9/11, it meant a lot and I got a little emotional, at which point he gave me a hug! Thank you for your kindness. I promise to pay it forward sir.
